Katy is an accomplished HR professional with a proven track record of driving organisational success through strategic human resource management.

Katy joined group company Pyroban in 2017 as the HR Manager and is now responsible for developing comprehensive HR strategies tailored to meeting the evolving needs for all group companies as Head of HR for the Pioneer Safety Group. Katy’s strategic vision, unique blend of expertise and insight, and hands-on approach have helped foster a culture of excellence and inclusivity.

As Head of HR, Katy and her team are dedicated to championing employee engagement, talent development, and diversity and inclusion efforts, ensuring that the organisation remains at the forefront of best HR practices. Katy is also passionate about making a difference beyond our organisation, championing many Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives that reflect our commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Katy’s approach is rooted in empathy, integrity, and a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing. She believes in the power of people to drive positive change and actively fosters an environment where every individual feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Prior to this, Katy held positions at Caterpillar Inc as an HR Project Manager, Fender Musical Instruments at HR Operations Manager and HR Advisory roles at the Rydon Group and EDF Energy. In these roles, Katy gained invaluable experience in HR project management, talent acquisition, employee relations and organisational development. Her diverse background has equipped her with a strategic mindset to drive sustainable growth and success.
