CULTURE
Staff voice. Regular forums. Genuine action.
Across the organisation we have a culture of continual improvement and listening to employees to create positive and meaningful change. We recognise that our staff have an important voice that wants to be heard, usually within departmental meetings.
At Pioneer Safety Group we go a step further. For example at Pyroban, each quarter our Managing Director Steve Noakes shares breakfast with a group of employees (a different mix each time) to give them the opportunity to share ideas, thoughts and provide honest feedback both positive and negative.
The aim is to get the team to talk freely about what they like and the daily challenges. It has been a huge success and in many cases has helped to drive genuine change. It also gives employees a chance to get feedback about certain decisions and explain why they can (or can’t) do certain activities in the business.
